Learning Curve Tuition $10

I'm looking for 14 First Adopters interested in my online workshops, and... who would like to help me learn and work out the bugs! There are 14 spots available for this first interactive, online workshop. The initial "Learning Curve Tuition" is very low at only $10.00 per participant. I cannot guarantee no "goof-ups" but I can guarantee that I will present the complete workshop. The low registration does not reflect less content but rather an acknowledgement that there could initially be glitches in my own technological learning curve.

Title

Camelid Behavior -
As an Indicator in Handling, Training and Illness

Summary and Objectives

This webinar will explore llama and alpaca behavior and communication from specific individual behaviors to herd responses. Through visuals that you will actually view on your home computer screen and discussion (we will be linked on the telephone like a conference call) you will learn the subtle nuances of camelid behavior and how these cues play an important role in our herd management and training. Much of the information you will receive was presented for veterinarians at UC-Davis earlier this year.

Plan on learning about camelid behavior and online meetings all during the same webinar!

Craig will be in attendence to learn about the technology with the goal of designing a user friendly experience.

Register now. The Webinar is limited to 14 attendees.

Thank you,

Cathy

More Information

Camelid Behavior -
As an Indicator in Handling, Training and Illness

A phrase often repeated throughout the camelid communities is:

“They are so stoic. Once they really begin to act as though something may be wrong… something is usually really wrong!”

What behaviors in our llamas and alpacas have we missed before that point? How does an ill prey animal behave and how does the herd assist?

Have you ever wondered how it happens that after a seemingly successful day of halter training your llama or alpaca, the next day goes as if no previous training had ever taken place?

How would you decide if a depressed behavior might be internally or externally motivated?

Can they break a lower jaw by a blow to the top of the head?

This webinar is an online workshop using your computer and telephone. I will be presenting a series of photos of llama and alpaca behavior. The class will be able to talk to one another using telephone conferencing or Voice Over (the) Internet Protocol (VoIP). Simple to understand instructions are given to all registrants in advance.

What To Expect - Fun, Educational and Economical!

It is time consuming and costly to attend conferences and clinics, but not when you attend one of my webinars.

Webinars are online workshops using your computer and a telephone or microphone and speakers. You can see the pictures and information I am presenting on your computer monitor. And, using the conference call feature, you can talk with me and the other attendees, ask questions and share experiences.

Webinars will last 1-2 hours (depending on the topic) and at a fraction of the cost of attending a clinic. It is easy to participate and you don't even need to leave home. I'm using GoToMeeting.com for the online meeting software. Attendees do not need to subscribe to GoToMeeting.com. I've already done that. It is easy to attend a webinar.

Your cost is the tuition fee along with your usual telephone long distance charges for the conference call/audio portion of the webinar. If you want to avoid long distance charges and participate in the conference call for free, you can do so using Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Just use your computer microphone and speakers, or a computer headset.

After you register I'll email you a registration confirmation with instructions on how to join the webinar at the appointed time. It's simple and fun to do!

Cathy
